dForce-enabled

I got this cute dress for a child and changed the texture to a bit more Christmas themed.
Posed the child and started the simulation ----

POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFF and it exploded  :o
back to zero, another pose, the result was the same
and again
and again
and again

Not even the slightest pose is possible and the dress will explode  >:(
Different setting for the simulation --- no help, the explosion was granted  >:(

Looked at the page and of course, there it stood, in pretty small letters.

and dForce-enabled doesn't mean it's really dforce.
Damn it, then they could make it conform but not fake dforce!

nice dress but ...

Well... dForce enabled doesn't necessarily mean dForce tested (by the producer)   :D

When I look at the dress with all its folds and intricacies, I wonder how dForce is supposed to work: ultimately, dForce is nothing more than a thick, heavy steam iron that flattens everything that can be flattened...   Then there are the buttons and bows... dForce is hardly possible to handle this  (unless you use RFN—but that could look really mad).

You could try turning off self-collision, setting the collision distance very low (0.05), and setting the dynamic strength to .95. Then set the buckling stiffness to 0 and halve all other values. That way, it might not explode quite so quickly.

And if the buttons, bows, or other components come loose from the rest of the clothing during simulation (no, we don't mean explode, but rather fall off or remain in place) ... then, yes, then you know it's a dForce fake.

Or that it really has been tested at all :D

Well, I paid under 5 bucks and I can use it without any special pose, sitting included to the "special", cause it's not possible!
But I learned a bit more:
