I just wanted to put some things on sale and saw, that my magazine InTopsyCating, both versions, are suspended.
I don't know since when, I don't know why, I haven't gotten any information about it and I'm PISSED!



Wrote to the support and I know, I have to wait til tomorrow, since no one is ever working at that place on weekends.

Damn I'm soooo angry!

OK - since I just signed up here, I'll ask a really tough (aka hard nut to crack) question right away:

Is it possible to limit weight mapping to the absolute minimum when rigging objects using the Transfer Tool... or possibly eliminate it (almost) entirely?

I'm currently working with GeoGratfs, so here's an example from this morning: I (tried) to replace the G9 ears with grafts (a little homage to Futurama). This works well with G9 as a basis, but when the graft is applied to other models (our beloved Victoria), the graft is distorted by the weight mapping and the great antenna ears become something that looks like a botched shish kebab ;)

Any ideas or tips?

I have been working with Blender and DAZ for several years. At first, it was very frustrating because every single one of my ideas failed due to DAZ's limitations and rules. I have now gotten used to the limitations - but I try to push them to their limits... or simply work around them  :D

My favorite motto comes from Francis Picabia:
" Our head is round so that thinking can change direction "

For me, this means not giving up immediately, but (if something doesn't work in DAZ) looking for another way.

For users of my projects, this (often) means: get off the beaten track, pimp your brain, and let yourself be surprised  :)

I'm coming closer to the possibility to use my MD again :)

Ok, it takes ages (it feels like it) since I have good days, so I can concentrate and other days, sitting in a deep black hole.
So it's a really step by step and brick by brick work.
But today I got my Virtual Box installed and running, need a break now and hopefully can finish this evening.

Oh my, can't wait to create outfits again.
Makes me already feeling better  :)
