Photography / First.
Last post by Friedland -And since no posts have been done yet, I'll go first with this one:

It's really quite a simple still life and I'll try to break it down for you.
It is all arranged in my kitchen, with light coming in through a window on the left, about a meter away from the subects.
On top of the kitchen tablle, I have arranged the objects to form this composition as you see it.
And that's it.
So, what kind of super-duper camera did I use to take the picture with ?
Well - I didn't.
The camera I used was this one:

Yes, a 12 MP point-and-shoot.
Sensor size = Same as in a mobile phone.
No viewfinder - there's a screen on the back - and no interchangeable lenses - it's equipped with a fixed 4.5 - 18 mm lens with 4x zoom - and it's about the size of your palm.
Set on a rickety, bloody cheap, amateur tripod that isn't level in any way at all, no matter how you arrange it.
So you don't need a big camera equippment to make interesting photos.
Any camera will do and I bet you got one in yor phone.
Because it's not the camera that makes the photo.'
It's you !
