Dead internet theory

There is this theory going around for quite a while now, the Dead Internet Theory

And often I'm puzzled by the numbers I see in the statistics for the forum. Like this:

Or 50 views in only 5 days for this render:
https://3dgalleria.it/forum/index.php?media/item/old-postcard.70/

Where are these people?
The counter isn't counting every single view if done by only 1 person, those numbers are for single views from different people.

Ok, I'm posting the link to the forum like a crazy maniac, always in the hope, just one would follow and become a member here.
I did it with the shop with zero success, I've stopped doing it for my blog, cause it's useless. Hundreds of visitors, but not a single activity.

The Dead Internet Theory isn't a theory anymore.
It's a fact :(

Hmmm - I'm not entirely sure about that theory. But one thing that is a (well-known) fact is that in a forum, 5% (max. 10%) of users post, while the rest just read.

So: Don't Panic    :D

No panic --- just seeing the logical result we got because of AI  ::)

I think you're missing the point, Pushee.
What Nena is pointing out is that there are more bots on this forum than there are actual people.
Take my post "Sundance".
According to stats it has been "read" 2555 times  at the time of writing this post.
Try telling me they are all members of this forum.
Not likely ..  :)
