Things that I learned recently by simply sending a message to a stranger. Daz.

Daz related.

I never really messed with camera or render settings so much, I was always more focused on what I was doing with my scene rather than my settings. Plus, I'm kind of like that as a person. Who needs a manual? Button says go. Hit it. *Explosion and sad sounds* However, I've noticed a few ways to create more impact with renders by tweaking render settings. My friend created a camera and gave it to me as a gift. His camera taught me about field of depth and how to tweak it with the resolution to create awesome cinematic scenes. When I have more time, I'd like to put what I learned from his work to the test. But I also learned much more by our conversations.

Turned out render settings is useful. Who would have thought? Past progression settings, I never really bothered with them. But now that I have, here are three things I learned.

Render setting - filtering - Bloom Enabled. - This creates a glow that you can tweak on all the emissive surfaces. I made a lightsaber. Hahaha. Neon signs are easy now and far off distant light. I can render the background with it on and then the close stuff with it off to create distance that isn't a complete blur. The field of depth(camera) and Bloom(render settings) combined was a fun discovery.

Render settings - filtering - Noise Degrain  - Just one tik of this and all the fireflies go away. it's a hidden dial though... With out my friend I would never have found that out. Never really cared anyways but I should care obviously.

Render Settings - Optimization - Max Path and Max SSS can be changed to keep the light from bouncing off everything forever, causing long render times. I relearned this with my friend after an old friend taught me this. But I saw it again messing with the other two and so I include it.

I learned a lot simply by sending the first message and starting a conversation with a stranger. So, id liked to teach what I learned if you didn't know already, or you can add to it, but to also consider doing the same and creating more social interactions with others, especially if they come off young and impressionable. And try to also influence them into the right direction that benefits team humanity haha. The bad guys always use advertising to constantly say hi. So... I guess were going to have to start saying Hi even more  8) and giving people something better to talk about.

Good luck my friends. Not much can be done but much can be said and should be.

A good friend of mine threw me a rocket boost on Rh and I thanked her for it. Months later, I am watching her creating her own path to defeat the bad guys that has inspired me to kick back more. Thank you, Nena, for teaching me so much and being a great friend.  ;)

I'm looking forward to learn more about the settings you wrote here.

And for the rest ...
I'm speechless and Thank you   :-*
