Well Hello There !

I'm John Friedland and I'm a "refugee" from RH.
Well, not really a refugee but I joined RH since it was presented as an AI-free Zone.
Until it wasn't ...  ::)

So I did as I always do when I don't like a place and voiced with my feet.
Took down my gallery, loged out and left.
Because it was a lie and I hate lies !
Especially, I hate calculated lies ...

Mostly I'm probably known for NSFW artwork - but hear me out:
Yes, I started with 3D in that genre but I have grown more and more fed up with it.
Not much you can vary with that...

I may not be very productive for the moment, because I experiment with combining other techniques with 3D.
Like, I use Photoshop (CS 6) a lot and try to implement other kinds of media in my artworks.
Can't give you any recent examples since I'm currently doing basic work on my latest idea - but it would be something along these lines:

But instead of blabbing on, maybe I should provide a link to my website (Weebly).
Can I do that ?

Don't worry. It is all SFW's since nothing else is allowed, so everything on the site is approved.
(And since I have my own website, I won't be clogging up this gallery with stuff)

what a wonderful surprise to see you here!

You can post to other sides, no problem at all and for sure no problem, when it's a link to your own page.
NSFW is ok in our gallery as well, as long as it's marked NSFW.
I'm sure, no artist would ever say anything against esthetic nudes.

So, with that said:

Yes, I found a link to here on the RH forum.
I still have the account but never post anymore. Only read ...  sometimes .. :)

What you see on my site is as "NSFW" as I'm prepared to go.
There are enough of those galleries already, so I don't want to turn my site into one.
Still, it's always the same misogenys, slave, violence, juvenile and incel sheit posted over and over again in anyhow.

Done NSFW's for the best part of 15 years, so now I want to do something else - since art is important.
I have done "something else" every now and then in the past but now I want to move it up front.

*lol* I would had survived the boo-boo moment  :D

Just right now I'm also trying different things, in this case a lot of post work is in need to get this neon-like colors.
You're right, there are enough of "those" galleries and I think, they all serve a "rule" (?) to desensitize the people.
Making things normal, that shouldn't be the norm, getting people used to violence and porn and such.
Ok, it all started centuries ago. I remember the movie "When Women Had Tails" and it got very bad critiques in Germany.
Or the song Je 'taime, a scandal back then.
Today no one would even flinch, used to much more then this as that from the past.

What a lovely and, well, surprising Surprise to see you here at Nena's :)
It's me (Pushee-Ri / PasahRi) and I think you got a few of my likes on RH too ;)

I haven't been with RH long enough for their openness to AI to annoy me so much that I would leave... but I find the step that you, B Misfits, and others have taken courageous and admirable.

I also find the NSFW thing funny (really). Although I'm a creator (and I earn more money in this area than with family-friendly stuff), it sometimes bores me to death.

Have I told you that your website is really cool?

Thank you very much for your kind words on my website !

What got me over the edge with RH was the lie.
I can handle Gen AI in general by just ignoring it, but I hate lies.
And especially calcuated lies.

On forums and communities:
The NSFW stage is making me feel like I'm just on repeat, constantly pumping creative energy into something that will never ever go anywhere.
It's same old-same old over and over again and no matter which forum you sign up to, it's the same people doing the same stuff.
And Gen AI has definitely not made it any better.
It's still the same misogynus and violence gloryfying sheit and not even remotly erotic.
In large parts, it's actually more repulsive than alluring.

So, I signed up to this forum in the hopes of making more true to the core art.
I can't speak for anyone else, but that is my incetive and what I'm going to strive for here.
