Birds, so many birds

Since winter has decided to start early this year, not for the now, but for the cold temperature, I have started to make a lot of feeding place for the birds.

And just right now I was lucky enough to get the Woodpecker on a video

A very nice shot, Nena !
Since woodpeckers tend to be "shy" and alert and hide from people and other things they don't fancy.
Perhaps with falling temperatures and more scarse food supplies, they relax their guard and accept more intrusions.

My favourites of your videos are "Amber palying with water" and "Running".

Yes, the Woodpecker is on high alert and I hope, that he will learn, that any movement behind the window isn't any danger to him.

Running - my wonderful Brahma flock, they all got killed by the fox a year later

And Amber moved out, she found a new home, all for herself, no other cats in the house, but 2 Golden Retriever and a wonderful couple. She hit the jackpot
